On 6 September 2025, PilotWorks-IAS quietly observed the Hungry Ghost Festival at our Johor office. A few of our team members prepared offerings, folded joss paper, and set up a modest table with fruits, incense, and essentials. Although it was a small, intimate gathering, the act of lighting incense and making symbolic offerings reminded us of the importance of gratitude, humility, and cultural tradition. Even with only a handful of colleagues present, the moment carried meaning honouring ancestors and fostering a sense of respect that extends beyond our day-to-day work.
