1) PC-BASED AUTOMATION SOFTWARE PROGRAMMER
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop PC-based software for custom automation machines
- Develop machine control, data collection & monitoring applications
- Integrate PLC, Robot, Vision, Sensors & Industrial Equipment
- Develop communication using TCP/IP, RS232/RS485, Modbus TCP, OPC, Ethernet/IP and other industrial protocols such as SECS/GEM
- Develop SQL database applications and production data integration
- Perform software testing, debugging and machine commissioning
- Support installation and commissioning at customer factories
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or related field
- Minimum 1–2 years working experience in software programming / industrial automation
- Experience with VB.NET / C# / .NET is preferred
- Familiar with SQL / database programming
- Experience with PLC communication or industrial protocols is an advantage
- Understanding of machine control / industrial automation is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a project team
- Willing to travel for customer projects when required
2) AUTOMATION MACHINE DESIGNER
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design customised automation & special-purpose machines
- Develop 3D models, machine layouts and detailed fabrication drawings
- Design machine mechanisms, jigs, fixtures, tooling, conveyors & material handling systems.
- Select mechanical components such as cylinders, actuators, motors, bearings, etc.
- Prepare BOM and fabrication drawings
- Work closely with electrical, PLC, software and project teams
- Liaise with machining and fabrication vendors
- Support machine assembly, testing and troubleshooting
- Modify and improve machine designs based on actual machine performance and customer requirements
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field
- Minimum 1–2 years working experience in mechanical design, automation or special-purpose machinery
- Proficient in SolidWorks / AutoCAD or similar 3D CAD software
- Good understanding of mechanical mechanisms and pneumatic systems
- Able to read and prepare mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of machining, sheet metal and fabrication processes is an advantage
- Practical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and within a project team
- Willing to be hands-on during machine assembly, testing and commissioning
